2009 Magic City Youth Invitational
Local area non-profits SchoolPage and Magic City Youth Organization are partnering with local community centers to host a greater Birmingham area dance competition. Dance groups will compete against each over the summer, concluding with a 2 day finals event to be announced later in August. The event will be staged over 3 rounds with proceeds going to local community centers and Magic City Youth Organization. Each group will receive a profile page on SchoolPage.net where individuals vote for their favorite groups online. SchoolPage is expanding the offering of their free online fund raising pages beyond schools to other non-profits that support local communities. Community centers will receive a fund raising page, which displays sponsors ads as individuals vote for their favorite groups online. Groups will meet in late May at their respective community centers for round one competition. Top groups at each community center will enter round two where individuals vote over the summer to determine finalist. Finals will be hosted at a large venue, along with a national music act, where top groups in each category receive cash prizes. We will post more information on the invittional later this week. Spring Classes News
Spring Registration is underway. You may register at any time online on the website or through your child's teacher. Monthly tuition option is also available.
As of January 2009, there will be a late fee if the tuition is not paid the first week of classes and/or the 5th of every month. If you are more than two days late, a $10 penalty will be added to your total.
