Miss Michele
Michele Santiago grew up in a single-parent household in the suburbs of Chicago where it was difficult to afford extra-curricular classes. She received her Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in 1994 and Master's degree from the University of South Carolina where she majored in Vocal and Music Performance in 1996.
She has been dancing for over thirty years, with fifteen years teaching experience including ballet, jazz, musical theatre, hip-hop, cheerleading and colorguard. In addition, she has choreographed for cheerleading squads, dance teams, colorguards and drum corps throughout the Midwest and the Southeast. Through her teaching, her students have continued on to high school, college auxiliary teams, and Drum & Bugle Corps.
Her recent professional experience includes teaching at Ebony Arrington Dance & Performance, cheerleading coach for Holy Family School for 3 years as well as performing locally with Magic City Theatre & Centerstage Productions.
